Who Am I?

Who Am I?

Metaphysically speaking, I am matter alive, the eyes and the ears of the universe, and my “job” is to reflect back on it's incredible beauty so that I/it can experience more of what I/it is and what I/it already knows.

Ideally, my chosen purpose is to try to maintain this awareness in myself, and help others to become aware of this self reflecting/ experiencing capacity that, in some way, defines us as human beings. At the same time, I try not to ever do this in a direct manner without consent, and likewise, never do I do this at my own, or anyone else's expense.

Ethically speaking, in this perspective, there is no right or wrong, only choice. Over time, it is the consequences of my actions that guide me.

Pragmatically speaking, there is social compact, i.e. the law. From a universal perspective there is no such thing as fairness, or justice. From a societal perspective there are laws that are meant to preserve a certain sense of safety and predictability in our social enviornment.

In my best moments, this is the scaffolding upon which I discover and create my moment by moment experience and reality.
